Mark Ganz

President and CEO
Cambia Health Solutions
Mark has participated in the region's ever-evolving health care community his entire life, and health care has become his personal and professional cause. The son of a Spokane, Washington, physician, Mark spent many childhood afternoons at his father's family practice learning the importance of service, community and family.

His passion for transforming the way people experience health care is the cornerstone of his vision for Cambia. Since taking the top post in 2003, he has guided the company’s leadership and long-range strategic planning efforts along a path of re-imagining and reshaping the health care system. For the past 10 years, Mark has led the charge to make the system more affordable, understandable, and economically accountable. At Cambia, that means combining the practical skills built over 95 years as a trusted health plan with an appetite for innovation, looking at problems differently and keeping a customer-focus at the forefront while building a suite of products and services that meet the changing needs of the marketplace.

Mark has translated his dedication to serving others into an extraordinary record of community service.  He is a member of the board of directors of Portland General Electric Company; U.S. Bank-Oregon Advisory Board; Oregon Business Council (also executive committee member); Greater Portland Inc, a regional economic development corporation; Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association; America’s Health Insurance Plans; University of Portland Board of Regents; Boy Scouts of America-Cascade Pacific Council; Jesuit High School; and The Conversation Project. He also chairs the Aspen Institute Health Stewardship Project.  Mark earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. While an undergraduate, he was a staff member for U.S. Senator Henry M. "Scoop" Jackson (D-Wash)
